How we can help

Contacting Teen Between is the first step. This is usually taken by someone who feels that you are suffering because of divorce or separation. It could be your parent, teacher, a friend, a relative, a youth worker – or you yourself.

If it’s felt that counselling could help, and you yourself are ready and willing, then the process can begin. If you feel that you’re not ready at this stage, then it’s best not to continue, but know that we are here if, and when, you need us.

If you’re under the age of 16, the written permission of a parent or guardian is needed – usually the one you’re living with at the time.

The counselling sessions will take place after school hours, one session per week, for as long as you feel you need it, and will usually last for one hour. Your parent or guardian is welcome to attend part of the first session to discuss any queries they may have.
